Admissions Policy

Statement of Admission

No child will be refused admittance on the basis of race, national origin, color, or gender. All Country Christian students are afforded the rights, privileges, and activities presented by the school.

General Admission Standards

Preschool students are enrolled on the basis of parents' desire for their child to attend and classroom availability. Preschoolers must be at least 3 years old by September 1st and fully potty trained.

Kindergarten - fifth grade students are enrolled on the basis of parents' desire for their child to attend, classroom availability, and student's ability to function in the normal classroom setting. Entrance tests may be required. Minimum ages for enrollment are as follows:

  • Kindergarten entrance - 5 years old before September 1st
  • 1st Grade entrance - 6 years old before September 1st

6th - 12th grade students are enrolled on a combination of parental desires, student wishes and administrative approval. Each student must be willing to live by the expected rules of conduct as set forth in the handbook. Incoming new students must go through the proper application process and pass the formal interview with CCS administration. Students who have had prior behavioral problems may be considered on the basis that sufficient intervention has taken place to give a reasonable chance of success in the new environment. In this instance, acceptance would be on a probationary status.

    Special Needs Students

Country Christian is not equipped for special needs students. However, if a student is able to function within the normal classroom and complete the regular course work, we will consider working with them and their parents. Each situation will be evaluated individually.
