Country Christian School

Equipping Students to Blend Christian Character with Academic Excellence

Key Club International

Key Club International is the oldest (founded 1925) and one of the largest service programs for high school students. It is a student-led organization whose goal it is to teach leadership through service to others. Key Club International is a part of the Kiwanis International family of service-leadership programs, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.

The focus of Key Club at Country Christian School is two-fold; to serve our community and to raise and train young people as leaders. Here at Country Christian School we host one of the largest Key Clubs per capita in the United States. The Country Christian School Key Club is involved annually in:

  • Country Christian Key Club Molalla Kiddies Parade (annually around Independence Day)
  • Fishing Derby sponsored by the Molalla Kiwanis
  • Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Molalla Kiwanis
  • Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive sponsored by the Molalla Fire Department
  • Relay for Life sponsored by Susan B. Komen Foundation for cancer research

This year (2010) the Molalla Fire Department brought in 105,000 lbs. of canned food; we attribute 95,000 lbs. of that food in the Country Christian Key Club.
