National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics had been associated with membership in the organization since its beginnings in 1921. Country Christian High School is a charter member of the NHS. Our purpose is to recognize students for their accomplishments and challenge them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.

Membership in the Country Christian High School chapter of the NHS is open to students in grades 10-12 who have attended for at least one full semester and earn a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5.
